Each June, volunteers/pet teams get together to celebrate summer. Many of our dogs from the Chesapeake region are water dogs and swimming is an important part of the picnic. Everyone brings a covered dish and enjoys goodies from the grill. The pets also get “doggie” ice cream….
Community Activities
Volunteers participate in Halloween, Christmas, and St. Patrick’s Day parades, doggy fun days, the Talbot County Humane Society’s annual dog walk, the annual Blessing of the animals and other community activities.
